I am learning to expand my capacity to love and accept the many ways I receive love. I am finding more insightful ways to appreciate peers who constantly remind me of my specialness and prowess in the things I love. I am uncovering meaningful ways to appreciate the ones who remind me to breathe out the complicatedness and breathe in the good life.

The purgertory

The dead never truly leave us.
A small part of their broken soul remains in this small part of our broken universe. I’ve always sort of liked that. The idea that people are never really gone. It’s comforting at the very least. I’m not sure if i believe it. I’m not sure i believe you are dead either. But i guess for the sake of making things easier we’ll say you are dead. Not gone, not all the way. But technically dead.

So you’re dead.

Kind of weird writing that out.Almost as weird as saying it. But i guess thats just how things work. People are born, they live (or merely exist in most cases) and eventually have to have an inevitable death.
Not exactly a pleasant thought, but then who said this would have to be pleasant?
